The company provides services in all fields of the maritime business, including, primarily the shipping line operations. Sarioglu Shipping, which assumes on contract basis the management and the operations of third party vessels with Turkish and foreign flags as well as the operation of its self – owned fleet, managed operations of SAVARONA, the personal yacht of Mustafa Kemal ATATURK, for years. The company is one of the first ten shipping agencies to be licensed and certificated by the Under secretariat of Maritime Affairs.
The company has further been certificated in ship management by Turkish Lloyd and miscellaneous classification societies, which are members to IACS. Furthermore, it is the exclusive recognized agent in Turkey of ICGB (International Cargo Gear Bureau, Inc., USA) for testing and surveying of land facilities and cargo gears aboard.
